Zenless Zone Zero includes several event banners that offer the chance to pull characters, weapons, and Bangboo. Banners rotate regularly, so it’s important to think strategically about whether to spend your ZZZ Polychrome on the current banner, or hold off until the next one. Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 banners
The Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 banners will feature the S-Rank characters Astra Yao (Ether, Support) and Evelyn (Fire, Attack).
They’re also joined by S-Rank characters Ellen (Ice, Attack) and Qingyi (Electric, Stun) on their debut rerun banners.
All banners include boosted pull-rates for the following A-Rank characters: Anby (Electric, Stun) and Corin (Physical, Attack) in phase one, followed by Anton (Electric, Attack), and Nicole (Ether, Support) in phase two.
Meanwhile, the ZZZ 1.5 weapon banners feature the signature Zenless Zone Zero W-Engines for all of the above characters. The headline S-Rank weapons are Elegant Vanity (Support) and Heartstring Nocturne (Attack), the signature W-Engines for Astra Yao and Evelyn. Deep Sea Visitor (Attack) and Ice-Jade Teapot (Stun) are also up for grabs.
Finally, the ZZZ Bangboo banner pool expands with Snap (S-Rank), the Stars of Lyra faction Bangboo.
The Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 banners are expected to run from Wednesday, January 22, 2025, following the conclusion of version 1.4.
Current Zenless Zone Zero banners
The current Zenless Zone Zero banners are Hailstorm Shrine and Per Aspera, which feature the limited S-Rank characters Miyabi (Frost, Anomaly) and Harumasa (Electric, Attack).
Miyabi’s banner includes boosted pull rates for A-Rank characters Piper (Physical, Anomaly) and Soukaku (Ice, Support). Harumasa’s banner includes Lucy (Fire, Support) and Seth (Electric, Defence)
There are also two separate weapon banners during this update. Dissonant Shrine features Hailstorm Shrine (Anomaly), Miyabi’s signature S-Rank W-Engine, plus a higher chance to pull Roaring Ride (Anomaly) and Bashful Demon (Support). Dazzling Choir features Harumasa’s signature weapon, Zanshin Herb Case (Attack), with boosted pull rates for Kaboom the Cannon (Support) and Peacekeeper – Specialized (Defence).
The current ZZZ banners run concurrently for the entirety of version 1.4, from Wednesday, December 18, 2024 to Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Next Zenless Zone Zero banner
The next Zenless Zone Zero banners are Thousand Melodies and Mellow Waveride, featuring S-Rank characters Astra Yao (Ether, Support) and Ellen (Ice, Attack).
Both banners includes boosted pull rates for A-Rank characters Anby (Electric, Stun) and Corin (Physical, Attack)
The weapon banners feature Elegant Vanity (Support) and Deep Sea Visitor (Attack), the signature S-Rank W-Engines for Astra Yao and Ellen. They also include a higher chance to pull Demara Battery (Stun) and Housekeeper (Attack).
The next ZZZ banners are due to run from Wednesday, January 22 to Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Zenless Zone Zero standard banner
The Zenless Zone Zero standard banner is Star-Studded Cast. Otherwise known as the Stable Channel, it is a permanent banner that offers players the chance to pull from a select pool of Agents and W-Engines.
The standard banner includes the following S-Rank characters:
- Grace
- Koleda
- Lycaon
- Nekomata
- Rina
- Soldier 11
This banner also comes with a host of new player benefits, including a 20% discount on the first five ten-pulls and a guarantee to pull an S-Rank character within your first 50 Signal Searches. Once these bonuses have been exhausted, the odds of the standard banner revert to normal.
Zenless Zone Zero banner drop rates
You are guaranteed an A-Rank or higher for every ten pulls on any Zenless Zone Zero banner, with a guaranteed S-Rank every 90 pulls. Bear in mind that banners also include W-Engines, so your high-grade pulls aren’t always going to be characters.
The Zenless Zone Zero event banner, otherwise known as the Exclusive Channel, offers players the chance to pull exclusive S-Rank characters that don’t appear in the Stable Channel’s character pool for a limited time. Given their rarity, these characters are typically the strongest in the anime game.
Whenever you pull an S-Rank from an event banner, there is a 50/50 chance that it’ll be the featured character. If you lose that 50/50, the next S-Rank you pull is guaranteed to be that character.
Event banners also include increased drop rates for an additional two A-Rank characters – so if you have your heart set on pulling a particular character, it’s worth waiting until their corresponding event banner rolls around. Broadly speaking, you should always prioritize the event banner over the standard banner, to increase the odds that you pull the character you want.
